Every [[survivor]] has a story of who they were before the plague, or of something that happened before you met them. They reveal it to you in three parts when they reach level 3, 6 and 9. A speech bubble appears to indicate that a survivor is ready to talk. After hearing the next part of their backstory, you get to pick a new [[perk]] for them. Which ones you can choose from are dependent on the survivor's skill, and elements from the backstory.

Rebuild: Gangs of Deadsville (aka Rebuild 3) is the third game in Sarah Northway's post-apocalyptic strategy game series Rebuild.

History

Rebuild 1

Early prototype distributed free on sites like kongregate.com. Sarah Northway did the art for the first Rebuild.

Rebuild 2

Aka Rebuild Mobile, Sarah hired EvilKris to help with the art and distributed first as a free flash game on sites like armorgames.com, then later on iOS and Android. A holiday update to the mobile version added seasons and cannibalism.

Rebuild 3

Backstory
