About Edit

Horde Attacks frequently happen any time through out all of the games (Rebuild 1, 2 and 3). They are encountered in a random event, right at the beginning of a new day. Zeds from all neighboring fields combine to attack you. If the survivors fail to defend them, they will destroy your fences and leave behind a small amount of zombies in overwhelmed squares. The amount of surrounding zombies will be reduced by the number who have been shattered during their attack.

Horde sighted

A horde attack can be caused as well by a swarm of zombies more distant. In this case, they can be located with a caution sign on the map. Day by day this sign moves straight towards the safety zone. They cannot be neutralized when they are lurking and getting close to your base, as they are the one who is going to try to destroy and overwhelm your fort. In the night of the attack, the surrounding zombies join force with them. After the horde has attacked your base, regardless if they were successful or not, they disappear completely.

Trivia Edit

  • An upcoming horde will get triggered by a task which leads to an ending. Zombie Hordes may disappear, if the survivors cancel their mission.
  • Hordes may kill multiple survivors and overwhelm two or more buildings, if you are low on defense.
